In May 2018, I decided to leave law enforcement, opened my own private investigations business, and began putting my investigative experience to work for clients in North and South Carolina. Since that time I have successfully worked numerous cases involving adultery/infidelity issues, child custody disputes, workers’ compensation fraud, and locating persons.
During my tenure as a detective, I successfully located missing persons and runaways, recovered stolen property, and traced criminal suspects, bringing them to justice. I collaborated with SLED, ATF, FBI, and US Marshals, as well as other law enforcement entities, and was a member of the S.C. Attorney General's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the Upstate Human Trafficking Task Force. In 2015, I received the Solicitor's Award for Cherokee County Law Enforcement Excellence.
Retail Loss Prevention
Having worked for two of the world's largest retailers in various loss prevention capacities, I acquired a comprehensive skillset that allowed me to be successful in reducing multiple types of losses by controlling internal and external theft, identifying and mitigating fraud, and exposing operational inefficiencies. I received numerous awards over my years in retail for my performance and was responsible for the closure of several high dollar retail fraud cases as well as the recovery of thousands of dollars in merchandise.
